A personal message From the FounderS

Tiffany and Ethan

I am the proud parent of a young boy, who is quickly growing into a young man, who aspires to be physician. With confidence in 3rd grade, he expressed his desires of becoming a medical doctor.  By the 4th grade, he completed an assignment to describe his future job and he said, “I want to be the type of doctor that takes care of the really sick babies – a Neonatologist.”  He demonstrated his interest by watching videos, asking questions, very inquisitive and his true love for babies.  Kindergarten through 5th grade he and I noticed the positive impact of a well-balanced summer camp.  In the 7th grade he expressed the desire to attend a summer camp with a healthcare focus and would offer some medical experience.  Being an involved, assertive, and motivated mother, I began to do my research, but could not find a summer camp with this curriculum.  Although disappointed and shocked, immediately a still voice spoke to me about being the difference in another child’s life.

I am a Master Level Registered Nurse with over 20 years of experience, and my Alma Mater is Prairie View A&M University. I worked as a Vanguard Health Science Teacher at Ryan Middle School from 2000-2003.  I sponsored many extended after school programs and hosted many summer camps.  Here are a few: Liaison for a Major Summer Camp, Science Tutorial Masterclass, Museum for Health and Medical Science Instructor, Science Fair Coordinator, Public Speaking Lead Instructor, Communities in School Representative, Consistency Management Coordinator, and an Involved Parent That Understands The Importance of Continual Learning As Well As Life Skills. I am currently the Chief Executive Officer of E-PIC Training Center, Inc., which has grown successfully for the past 7 years”.

My son, travels throughout the city and surrounding areas assisting me with my Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First-Aid classes, Stop the Bleed seminars, demonstrating the use of manikins and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) devices.  His level of excitement, experience and enthusiasm is immeasurable.  This is an opportunity, not only am I giving my child, but the child of another parent.

We believe all students need access to this after school experience.

We have an entity of our experience that partners with school organizations offering scholarships, and grants.
